Intellectual property policy
Draft prepared for OzzBaba. Have a lawyer review it for every country you operate in before relying on it.
OzzBaba respects intellectual property (IP) rights and expects users to do the same.
Your content
You must own, or have permission to use, everything you upload: product photos, descriptions, logos, brand names, videos and documents. By uploading it you give us the licence described in the Terms of use. You keep ownership.
What you must not do
- List counterfeit or unauthorised copies of branded goods.
- Use someone else's photos, text, brand names or logos without permission.
- Use a trade mark in a listing in a way that misleads buyers about who made or authorised the goods.
Reporting a possible infringement
If you are an IP owner (or authorised to act for one) and believe a listing infringes your rights, email the contact details on our Help page with:
- your name, company, and contact details;
- a description of your work or brand and proof you own or represent it (for example a registration number);
- the link to the listing or content on OzzBaba;
- why you believe it infringes;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to make the report.
Do not send a report you know is false. Knowingly false reports can lead to liability and loss of access.
What we do
We review reports and may remove or disable the content, tell the person who posted it, and ask them to respond. If they provide a reasoned reply or proof of authorisation we may restore the content or leave the matter to you and them to settle directly. We may close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you think it was a mistake, email the contact details on our Help page with your account email, the link, and why you have the right to use it. We will review it.
Our IP
The OzzBaba name, logo, website, apps, design and software belong to OzzBaba or its licensors. Do not copy, modify or use them without written permission.
